WATER BILL INFORMATION

The Town of Ulysses bills quarterly (March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st).

You should receive your water bill the around the first week of those months.

All name and address changes should be made through the Town Clerk’s office or by calling 607-387-5767, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 am or Saturday 9am till 12 noon or by email to touclerk.@twcny.rr.com

Town of Ulysses residents have 30 days to make their water payments without penalty. After 30 days, there is a twenty percent (20%) penalty applied to the unpaid balance. It is the property owner or landlord's responsibility to make sure payments are made on their properties.

In the event that there are any water bills which have been delinquent for a period of at least sixty (60) days as of October 1 of any year, the Collection Clerk shall report the names of the defaulting persons to the Tompkins County Tax Assessor, and the Tax Assessor will be directed to relevy the outstanding water balance to the property owners tax bill.

Water payments can be made by mail or in person at the Ulysses Town Hall Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or Saturday Mornings 9am – 12noon.  Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card. Payments can be made on line at www.municipal-payments.com.

The Ulysses Town Hall has a night drop box that is checked daily for any payments or correspondences. It is locate atthe side entrance door.
