Cayuga Lake is one of the beautiful Finger Lakes and lies just a few miles south of Ulysses and offers
an excellent place for sailing, boating, picnicing or just to relax.
Taughannock Falls is a beautiful site with the falls being the highest in the northeastern United States.
At 215 feet, these falls are even higher than NiagaraFalls.
The falls have created a narrow gorge, viewable from various overlooks and from the 5 miles of hiking trails that surround the park.
Swimming, boating, camping and fishing are all popular from spring to early fall. The park is especially
beautiful during fall foliage season.
During winter, visitors enjoy sledding, cross-country skiing and ice-skating.
